ORIGINALLY NAMED Alkebulan
In Kemetic History of Afrika, Dr Cheikh Anah Diop writes, “The ancient name of Africa was Alkebulan. Alkebu-lan “mother of mankind” or “garden of Eden”.” Alkebulan is the oldest and the only word of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthaginians), and Ethiopians.

Our MISSION is to educate, encourage and equip women to pray, listen, learn, grow and give through media, small-group interaction and leadership development. TWR Women of Hope speaks hope and healing to women around the world and across generations
Who is a woman of HOPE?
Characteristics of a woman of HOPE, according to the Bible:
- She does not take bribes(Exodus 23:8), for a bribe blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous. Instead, she judges without favouritism.
- She does not consult the wicked(Proverbs 18:5; Psalm 1:5)
- She may suffer hostility and hatred for doing right, but, ultimately, God delivers her out of the trouble(Psalm 34:19)
- Her earnings are honourable,and she is contented with the little she may have compared to the riches of the corrupt (Psalm 37:16)
- She is kind and considerateto the poor, and, to animals (Proverbs 29:7; Proverbs 12:10)
- God’s favour is on her(Psalm 34:15), and the Most High Himself directs her actions (Psalm 37:23)
- She leaves a legacy;will be remembered fondly (Psalm 112:6)
A Women of HOPE
- Serve the Almighty God, who brought His People out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery
- Has no other gods before the face of the Most High her God
- Creates no images to worship or to pray to
- bows down to worship the Most High her God day-to-day
- does not use the name of the Most High her God without purpose
- Remembers the Sabbath day and keep the day holy
- Respects her father and her mother
- Does not take away the life of anyone with her speech or actions on purpose
- Does not take anything without permission or legal right and without intending to return it
- Has the quality of truthfulness in her marriage and relationships
- She is content with the things God provide; and serves Him in obedience
